(670 The Score) Bears veteran receiver Keenan Allen and rookie receiver Rome Odunze are each questionable to play against the Texans on Sunday Night Football.
Allen has been dealing with a heel injury, which he suffered late in the preseason. The team has hoped that rest would allow Allen's injury to heal, coach Matt Eberflus said, and Allen didn't practice this week. Odunze suffered an MCL sprain in the Bears' win against the Titans last Sunday. He returned to practice in a limited fashion Friday.
Bears defensive lineman DeMarcus Walker (foot) is also questionable. The team ruled out guard Ryan Bates (shoulder/elbow) and fullback Khari Blasingame (hand/knee). Second-year defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and rookie offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie (quad) weren't listed with injury designations for Sunday.
The Bears (1-0) and Texans (1-0) kick off at 7:20 p.m. CT on Sunday from NRG Stadium in Houston.
