Nagy added that he hasn’t met or talked with ownership this week as the Bears have a quick turnaround before facing the Lions. On Tuesday morning, Patch reported that he’ll coach his last game for the Bears on Thursday and then be fired.

Chicago has dropped to 3-7 and is riding a five-game losing streak for the second straight season under Nagy’s watch. Nagy sidestepped a question when asked if he has assurances that he’ll coach the remainder of the season.

"My focus right now is on these players and Detroit," Nagy said. "That's it."
