Bears complete their cuts as they trim initial roster to 53

(670 The Score) The Bears have come a long way in three offseasons led by general manager Ryan Poles and now carry hopes of contention into the 2024 season.

As part of that process, Poles and the Bears let go of more than three dozen players over the past few days, which included a series of roster transactions Tuesday ahead of the 3 p.m. deadline to cut rosters to the 53-man limit. Here's a look at the moves the Bears made Tuesday and over the past few days.

Note: Teams can begin forming their 16-man practice squads Wednesday. Players available on waivers can also be claimed once the waiver cycle begins at 11 a.m. CT Wednesday.
