Bears list Akiem Hicks as doubtful, Khalil Mack as questionable to play against Raiders

(670 The Score) The Bears will likely take on the Raiders without one and potentially two key players on defense.

Bears defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (groin) was listed as doubtful to play at Las Vegas on Sunday, while edge rusher Khalil Mack (ribs/foot) is questionable. Both Hicks and Mack were limited participants during a lighter practice Friday, which marked a step forward for each player.

As expected, the Bears ruled out running back David Montgomery due to a left knee sprain. He's expected to miss at least four weeks and is likely to land on injured reserve before the 3 p.m. CT deadline Saturday to have such a roster move apply for Sunday.

The Bears listed safety Tashaun Gipson (hamstring) as questionable, though he was a full participant in practice this week. He missed the team's past two games. Tight end Jesper Horsted (knee) and linebacker Christian Jones (back) are also questionable.

Tight end Jesse James (personal), linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe (hamstring) and tight end J.P. Holtz (quad) were ruled out.

Kickoff between the Bears (2-2) and Raiders (3-1) comes at 3:05 p.m. CT on Sunday in Las Vegas.
