Bears guard Teven Jenkins (ribs) active against Panthers

CHICAGO (670 The Score) Bears left guard Teven Jenkins is active against the Panthers on Sunday.

Jenkins departed the Bears' win against the Rams last Sunday after suffering bruised ribs in the first quarter. It's unclear whether he'll play a full role or instead work in a rotation against the Panthers.

Bears receiver Velus Jones Jr., fullback Khari Blasingame, defensive lineman Zacch Pickens, cornerback Terell Smith and defensive end Dominique Robinson are each inactive.

Pickens (groin) and Smith (hip) are the inactive players dealing with injuries.

Jones has been a healthy scratch ever since the Bears' season opener, when he muffed a kickoff return.

The Bears (2-2) and Panthers (1-3) will kick off at noon CT on Sunday from Soldier Field.
