Arthur worked with the Bears previously from 2005-'15 as a strength and conditioning coach. He replaces Jason Loscalzo, who wasn't retained in his position.

Arthur's hiring comes after the Bears brought in Brent Salazar to the newly created role of Clyde Emrich director of high performance, a position that oversees the strength and conditioning and sports science departments.
