Bears' Khalil Mack, Cordarrelle Patterson earn Pro Bowl honors

The Pro Bowl game won't be played this season.

(670 The Score) Bears star pass rusher Khalil Mack and kickoff returner Cordarrelle Patterson have earned Pro Bowl honors.

Mack has been selected to the Pro Bowl team for the sixth consecutive season. He has eight sacks and three forced fumbles in 14 games this season. Patterson was selected for the fourth time in his career and the second straight season. He has averaged 29.4 yards per kickoff return with one touchdown.

The Bears had several other players who were garnering Pro Bowl consideration, including linebacker Roquan Smith, receiver Allen Robinson and kicker Cairo Santos. Smith would be considered the Bears' most significant Pro Bowl snub. He's second in the NFL with 89 solo tackles and 17 tackles for a loss.

Due to the pandemic, the Pro Bowl won't be played this season, meaning there will be no alternate selections.
