(670 The Score) The Bears on Sunday landed the No. 2 seed in the NFC and will host the rival Packers at Soldier Field in the wild-card round next Saturday. The game will kick off at 7 p.m.
The Bears lost 19-16 to the Lions on Sunday at Soldier Field, but they secured the No. 2 seed by virtue of the Eagles' 24-17 loss to the Commanders. Chicago and Philadelphia both went 11-6, and the Bears held the tiebreaker because of their 24-15 win against the Eagles on Nov. 28.
The Bears split their two games with the Packers. They lost 28-21 on Dec. 7 at Lambeau Field, then rallied for a 22-16 overtime win on Dec. 20 at Soldier Field.
The Bears and Packers have met once before in the playoffs since the AFL-NFL merger. Green Bay earned a 21-14 win in the NFC Championship Game at Soldier Field in January 2011.
