INGLEWOOD, Calif. (670 The Score) -- Early in the third quarter of the Bears' season opener Sunday night, they were already down to their fourth option at left tackle.
The Bears have plenty of concerns after their 34-14 loss to the Rams at SoFi Stadium, and the injuries at left tackle are at the top of that list.
Veteran starter Jason Peters, who signed with the Bears in August, exited late in the second quarter with a quad injury and didn't return. The 39-year-old Peters joined the Bears in order to replace rookie Teven Jenkins, who's on injured reserve after undergoing back surgery in August.
Peters was replaced by rookie Larry Borom, who had his left ankle rolled up on a play in the third quarter. The Bears then turned to veteran Elijah Wilkinson -- who had been recently playing only right tackle -- to finish the game at left tackle.
Bears coach Matt Nagy didn't have updates on the health of either Peters or Borom late Sunday night. He's scheduled to address reporters Monday morning at Halas Hall.
The Bears (0-1) host the Bengals (1-0) next Sunday at Soldier Field.
