Dozier was carted off the practice field last Tuesday during veteran minicamp. It remains unclear how he suffered the injury, which occurred at the end of a play. The Bears haven't provided an update on his status.

Dozier, 31, was signed on a one-year deal in March and had been competing for a starting job on the Bears' offensive line.

The Bears signed defensive back Jayson Stanley in a corresponding roster move. Stanley, 25, played in parts of eight games with the Seahawks during the 2020 season.
