CHICAGO (670 The Score) — Bears running back D'Onta Foreman has been ruled out against the Cardinals on Sunday due to personal reasons.
Foreman is the Bears' leading running back, carrying for 425 yards and four touchdowns in nine games this season. He stepped away from the team Thursday, returned in a limited role Friday and was made inactive prior to kickoff Sunday at Solder Field.
Without Foreman, the Bears will turn to running backs Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson for increased roles.
Bears tight end Cole Kmet (quad) is officially active. He suffered his injury during practice this week. Kmet had 66 receptions for 571 yards and six touchdowns this season. He has never missed a game in four NFL seasons.
The Bears' inactives are Foreman, left guard Teven Jenkins (concussion), linebacker Noah Sewell (knee), receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral), quarterback Nathan Peterman and safety Quindell Johnson.
The Bears (5-9) and Cardinals (3-11) kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday.
