(670 The Score) The Bears have cut loose one of their free-agent additions from last year, as they released defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad on Tuesday.
Muhammad joined the Bears on a two-year, $10-million deal last March. He had just one sack over 16 regular-season games in 2022. Muhammad signed with the Bears after playing four seasons with the Colts under the watch of Chicago coach Matt Eberflus, who was previously Indianapolis' defensive coordinator.
The Bears are expected to open up around $4 million more in salary cap space with Muhammad's release.
