The Bears requested permission to interview Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier for the vacant coaching job, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN. They also requested permission to interview Colts director of college scouting Morocco Brown for their vacant general manager position, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported.

Frazier, 62, played for the Bears from 1981-’85 and was a member of the franchise’s lone Super Bowl-winning team. He was the Vikings’ head coach from 2010-’13, compiling a 21-32-1 record before he was let go. He has since rebuilt his stock as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach in Buffalo, where he has worked since 2017. The Bills had the top-ranked total defense and scoring defense in 2021.

Brown worked as the Bears’ assistant director of pro personnel from 2001-’07. He has worked for the Colts for the past five years. Brown interviewed for the Falcons’ general manager position last offseason.
