(670 The Score) Three Bears were recognized as being among the best in the NFL at their respective positions.
Bears edge rusher Robert Quinn, linebacker Roquan Smith and returner Jakeem Grant were honored as second-time All-Pro selections, the Associated Press announced Friday.
Quinn had 18.5 sacks in the 2021 campaign, the most in a single season in Bears franchise history. He surpassed Hall of Fame pass rusher Richard Dent with his 18th sack during a game on Jan. 2.
Smith posted a career-high 163 combined tackles, the second-most in Bears history in a single season. He also added 12 tackles for a loss, three sacks and an interception return for a touchdown.
Grant averaged 11.9 yards per punt return and 23.4 yards per kickoff return. He returned a punt for a 97-yard touchdown during the Bears' loss to the Packers on Dec. 12. The Bears acquired Grant from the Dolphins in a trade in October.
The Packers, Colts, Cowboys, Rams and Ravens led the way by having three players apiece earn first-team All-Pro honors.
