Bears' Roquan Smith, Akiem Hicks active against Vikings

CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- Bears linebacker Roquan Smith and defensive lineman Akiem Hicks will each be active against the Vikings on Monday night, offering a lift to an otherwise depleted defense.

Smith has been dealing with a hamstring injury but hasn't missed a game this season. He has 130 combined tackles to go with nine tackles for a loss and three sacks in 13 games.

Hicks hasn't played since Nov. 8, when he suffered an ankle injury during a game in Pittsburgh. He has 1.5 sacks over seven games this season.

The Bears' inactives include offensive tackle Jason Peters (ankle), receiver Marquise Goodwin (foot), cornerback Xavier Crawford (concussion) and defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga (shoulder).

None of the Bears' 14 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list were medically cleared to play Monday ahead of the game. The team will start Kindle Vildor and Thomas Graham Jr. at cornerback, Mark Grote of 670 The Score reported.

The Vikings ruled out receiver Adam Thielen (ankle). He has 64 receptions for 684 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.

The Bears (4-9) and Vikings (6-7) kick off at 7:15 p.m. CT from Soldier Field.
