Bears safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) isn't traveling with team to London

(670 The Score) Bears safety Jaquan Brisker won't travel with his team to London on Monday night.

Brisker reported symptoms of a concussion to the Bears on Monday afternoon and entered the NFL's protocol. He could join the team in London if cleared from the protocol.

While it hasn't been confirmed when Brisker suffered the concussion, he delivered a head-to-head hit on Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble in the second quarter Sunday that may have resulted in the injury. Tremble suffered a concussion on that tackle and was ruled out from the game, which the Bears won 36-10.

The Bears will likely turn to Elijah Hicks or Jonathan Owens at safety in place of Brisker. Defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and cornerback Terell Smith (hip) also didn't travel with the team Monday. Starting left guard Teven Jenkins made the trip to London despite leaving the game Sunday with an ankle injury.

The Bears (3-2) and Jaguars (1-4) kick off at 8:30 a.m. CT on Sunday.
