LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) – The Bears selected Kennesaw State defensive tackle Travis Bell at No. 218 overall and Stanford safety Kendall Williamson at No. 258 overall in the seventh round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.
Bell had 30 total tackles and 1.5 sacks last season. He’s the first player from a non-Power 5 program selected by the Bears in this draft class and the third defensive lineman the team has added. Chicago selected Florida defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr. (second round) and South Carolina defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (third round) on Friday.
The 6-foot-1, 202-pound Williamson had 50 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one interception in 10 games for Stanford in 2022.
