(670 The Score) The Bears have signed inside linebacker Alec Ogletree, the team announced Wednesday.
Ogletree, 29, has played with the Rams (2013-'17), Giants (2018-'19) and Jets (2020) in his eight-year NFL career, over which he has appeared in 95 games. Ogletree recorded 80 tackles while starting 13 games for the Giants in 2019. He appeared in two games for the Jets in 2020 before the team released him last October.
Ogletree projects to serve as the Bears' primary reserve at inside linebacker behind starters Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan.
The Bears had an off day Wednesday. They return to practice Thursday at Halas Hall.
