(670 The Score) Bears receiver Chase Claypool has struggled to find success since being acquired by Chicago last November. His frustration has been apparent at times, including in the team's 0-3 start this season.

With that as context, Claypool was asked Friday whether he believes the Bears have put him in the best position to showcase himself.

"No," Claypool said after a long pause, shaking his head in offering the answer.

"I’m not going to give any pointers. That’s their job to decide, and I’ll just do what they tell me to do."

The 25-year-old Claypool has four catches for 51 yards and one touchdown in three games this season. He expressed optimism that his place in the struggling Bears offense can take shape soon.

"Every situation has the ability to be ideal, and I think we’re just working towards that," Claypool said. "I wouldn’t say it’s not an ideal place for me. Obviously there’s other places – you can say, ‘Oh, I want to be on the best offense with the highest passing yards,’ but that doesn’t happen in football. You just have to make due with what you got."

The Bears traded a second-round pick to the Steelers last November to acquire Claypool, who's playing in the final year of his rookie contract. Claypool has just 18 receptions for 191 yards and one touchdown over 10 games with Chicago.

The Bears (0-3) host the Broncos (0-3) on Sunday at Soldier Field.
