New Bears defensive tackle Grady Jarrett 'raises the level of people around him'

(670 The Score) The Bears are getting a good one on and off the field in new defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, Falcons radio analyst Dave Archer told the Bernstein & Harris Show on Tuesday.

“Nobody turns up the heat more than he does when it comes to getting ready to play,” Archer said. “His work ethic, his leadership qualities are off the charts.

"He raises the level of people around him.”

Jarrett agreed to a three-year, $43.5-million deal with the Bears on Monday after he was a salary cap cut of the Falcons, for whom he'd played his first 10 NFL seasons. You can listen to Archer share a full scouting report on him in the audio player above.
