(670 The Score) Before the Bears make their quarterback decision, three-year starter Justin Fields has made a roster move of his own.

Fields unfollowed the Bears’ official Instagram account, which drew attention and led to further speculation about whether his time with the team is up. But Fields shot back at that line of thinking on The 33rd Team’s St. Brown Bros. Podcast with Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Bears receiver Equanimeous St. Brown.

“I’m glad we’re talking about it,” Fields said. “Because why do people take social media so seriously? Like, I still mess with the Bears. I’m just trying to take a little break. I unfollowed the Bears and the NFL. I’m not trying to have football on my timeline.

“I’m about to go on vacation. I don’t want to see (any) football. And guess what, it’s either ‘Keep Fields, we want Fields’ or ‘Draft Caleb (Williams).’ So it’s like, I'm tired of hearing the talk. I just want it to be over.”

The Bears are preparing for a quarterback decision this offseason, as they'll either commit to the 24-year-old Fields as their starter or select USC star quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

"If it was up to me, I'd want to stay in Chicago," Fields said while praising the fans and the city.

Bears general manager Ryan Poles is scheduled to address reporters next Tuesday at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
