On a second-and-27 play from the Eagles’ 48-yard line in the second quarter, Fields escaped pressure and scrambled for 39 yards down the left sideline to set up a Bears touchdown on the next play. With the amazing run, Fields surpassed Bobby Douglass’ franchise record of 968 rushing yards by a quarterback in 1972.

Fields entered the day with 905 rushing yards and finished with 15 carries for 95 yards. That gave him exactly 1,000 yards for the season. He's only the third quarterback in NFL history to reach that mark, joining Lamar Jackson (in 2019 and 2020) and Michael Vick (in 2006).

Fields left just about everyone shaking their head in disbelief with his latest magical run.
