(670 The Score) The Bears have released veteran receiver Ted Ginn Jr., the team announced Wednesday morning.
The 35-year-old Ginn caught three passes for 40 yards over six games. He was the Bears' punt returner for four games before being replaced by newcomer Dwayne Harris on Sunday.
The 2007 first-round pick, Ginn was signed by the Bears on a one-year deal in the offseason. He was a healthy inactive for two games this season, including the loss to the Saints on Sunday. A 14-year NFL veteran, Ginn was playing on his sixth team.
