(670 The Score) The Bears have added depth to their interior offensive line, acquiring veteran offensive lineman Dan Feeney from the Dolphins in exchange for a sixth-round pick, according to reports.
Feeney, 29, has played six NFL seasons, working in 96 games and starting in 64. A third-round pick out of Indiana, Feeney played his first four years with the Chargers, then two years with the Jets. He signed with the Dolphins in March.
An Orland Park native, Feeney will join a Bears offensive line that has dealt with several key injuries during the preseason. It's unclear what role the team has planned for him.
