(670 The Score) The Bears will re-sign tackle Germain Ifedi on a one-year deal, NFL Media reported Tuesday evening.
Ifedi, 26, can earn up to $5 million in 2021 on the deal. He started all 16 games for the Bears last season, splitting time between right guard and tackle. Ifedi figures to factor in at right tackle for the Bears in 2021, a position that opened up after the team declined a contract option on Bobby Massie. A first-round pick of the Seahawks in 2016, Ifedi has started 76 career games.
The Bears signed Ifedi last offseason after he wasn't retained by the Seahawks following four seasons in Seattle. The Bears haven't yet made the re-signing of Ifedi official.
