(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have traded forward Matthew Highmore to the Canucks for forward Adam Gaudette, the team announced late Monday morning.

Gaudette, 24, has 21 goals and 31 assists in 153 career NHL games. He has seven points (four goals, three assists) in 33 games this season. He was a fifth-round pick of the Canucks in 2015.

Highmore, 25, has four goals and six assists in 73 career NHL games. He has two points (two assists) in 24 games this season. He broke into the NHL as a free agent with the Blackhawks in 2017.

The deal was reached ahead of the trade deadline that looms at 2 p.m. CT Monday.
