(670 The Score) Blackhawks forward Dominik Kubalik earned all-rookie team honors, the NHL announced Monday evening. He also finished third in the Calder Trophy voting, the award given to the top rookie each season.
Kubalik, 25, was one of six players to be named to the all-rookie team. He led all rookies with 30 goals in 68 games, over which he added 16 assists as well. He was the fifth rookie in Blackhawks history to reach the 30-goal mark and did so in a regular season shortened by the coronavirus pandemic.
Kubalik also ranked seventh in the NHL with a 19.1 shooting percentage.
