(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have moved up a bit with the latter of their two first-round selections in the upcoming NHL Draft.

Chicago has traded the No. 20, No. 54 and No. 61 overall picks to the New York Islanders for the No. 18 and No. 50 overall selections, the team announced Friday. The Blackhawks owed the additional first-round pick from a previous trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Chicago also continues to hold the No. 2 overall pick in the NHL Draft, which will be held June 28-29 in Las Vegas.

The Blackhawks now have eight picks in the 2024 NHL Draft, including six in the first three rounds.
