Chicago sent defenseman Nikita Zadorov to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2022 draft. The pick that Calgary sent Chicago was Toronto’s third-round slot that the Flames had previously acquired.
Zadorov, 26, had eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 55 games for the Blackhawks last season. On Monday, the Blackhawks had given Zadorov a qualifying offer, making his a pending restricted free agent.
