(670 The Score) With the trade deadline looming Monday, the Blackhawks and Panthers on Thursday made their second deal in the past week.

Chicago acquired forward Brett Connolly, forward Henrik Borgstrom, defenseman Riley Stillman and a seventh-round draft pick in exchange for forward Lucas Wallmark and defenseman Lucas Carlsson, according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN and other outlets. The deal came after the Blackhawks recently acquired forward Vinnie Hinostroza from the Panthers in exchange for a minor league player.

Connolly, 28, is viewed as having a burdensome contract, with a $3.5-million cap hit annually through the 2022-’23 season. He has four points (two goals, two assists) in 21 games this season. He had 33 points (19 goals, 14 assists) in 69 games last season.

Borgstrom, 23, was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2016 draft. He had 18 points in 50 games in the 2018-’19 season before appearing in just four games with the Panthers in 2019-’20 and playing in Finland this season.

Stillman, 23, was a fourth-round pick of Florida in the 2016 draft. He had appeared in eight games for the Panthers this season.

Wallmark, 25, had three points in 16 games for Chicago this season. Carlsson, 23, had one points in 12 games for the Blackhawks.
