(670 The Score) Wing Javonte Green has agreed to return to the Bulls on a two-year deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Friday.
The Bulls acquired the 6-foot-4 Green from the Celtics in a trade in late March. Green averaged 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 8.0 minutes across 16 games for Chicago down the stretch of the regular season. He was often praised by coach Billy Donovan for his strong defensive presence.
Green has averaged 3.5 points per game in his two-year NBA career. He returns to a revamped Bulls backcourt, as the team has added guard Lonzo Ball and guard Alex Caruso in free agency, drafted guard Ayo Dosunmu in the second round and also acquired wing DeMar DeRozan in a sign-and-trade with the Spurs.
