(670 The Score) Bulls star guard Zach LaVine requested the assistance of police after an unsettling situation at his residence Thursday night.
Police were summoned to LaVine's place after a woman showed up and refused to leave, TMZ reported. The woman had traveled from another state and demanded to have a conversation, TMZ reported, adding that LaVine didn’t know the woman. TMZ characterized the woman as an "overzealous fan."
The police took the woman to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation, and she wasn’t charged with a crime, TMZ reported.
LaVine, 25, is set to play in the All-Star Game in Atlanta on Sunday. He’s posting career-high marks of 28.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 34 games.
