(670 The Score) The White Sox on Monday officially reinstated center fielder Luis Robert to the active roster after he missed the past three months with a tear of his right hip flexor.

Chicago optioned outfielder Gavin Sheets to Triple-A Charlotte and released outfielder Luis Gonzalez in a pair of corresponding moves to clear room for Robert.

Robert is expected to be in the starting lineup when the White Sox visit the Twins on Monday evening. He was hitting .316 with an .822 OPS in 25 games before hurting himself while sprinting to first base on May 2.
