(670 The Score) White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton has been suspended one game by MLB for what the league viewed as aggressive actions that started a benches-clearing incident against the Indians last Thursday.

Eaton was set to miss Chicago’s game at Cleveland on Tuesday but played after appealing the suspension. In the incident last Thursday, Eaton shoved Indians shortstop Andres Gimenez after being called out trying to stretch a single into a double. Eaton felt he had been illegally shoved off the base by Gimenez. The benches cleared just after that. Eaton wasn't ejected for his actions in the game.

Eaton entered play Tuesday hitting .268 with three homers, 14 RBIs and an .861 OPS in 15 games.
