White Sox CF Luis Robert Jr. (calf) out of All-Star Game after Home Run Derby injury

(670 The Score) White Sox center fielder Luis Robert Jr. suffered a calf injury during the Home Run Derby on Monday night and it will require him to miss Tuesday's All-Star Game, the team announced.

Robert is considered day-to-day and will be re-evaluated before the White Sox return to play on Friday in Atlanta. Robert felt tightness in his calf during the first round of the Home Run Derby, during which he hit 28 home runs and advanced to the semifinals. Robert did not advance to the final round.

The 25-year-old Robert was named to the All-Star Game for the first time. He's hitting .271 with 26 home runs and 51 RBIs this season.

Robert was the lone White Sox player selected to the All-Star Game.
