Chicago has signed right-hander Kyle Crick, left-hander Wes Benjamin, left-hander Brandon Finnegan, left-hander Yacksel Rios, catcher Nick Ciuffo, outfielder Luis Basabe and outfielder Dwight Smith Jr. to minor league contracts, and they’ll all join camp in Glendale, Ariz.

In addition to those seven, the White Sox invited 12 players already in their organization to their big league camp: right-hander Caleb Freeman, right-hander Tyler Johnson, right-hander Kade McClure, right-hander Emilio Vargas, left-hander Tanner Banks, left-hander Andrew Perez, left-hander Hunter Schryver, catcher Carlos Perez, catcher Xavier Fernandez, infielder Zach Remillard, infielder Jose Rodriguez and outfielder Yoelqui Cespedes.

The White Sox open their Cactus League slate by playing the Cubs in a pair of split-squad games Thursday.
