Anderson’s option getting picked up was a mere formality, as he’s a two-time All-Star and key piece of their team. He hit .301 with six homers, 25 RBIs and a .734 OPS in 79 games in an injury-plagued 2022 season. He didn’t play the final two months of the season after suffering a tear in the middle finger of his left hand.

Harrison hit .256 with seven homers, 27 RBIs and a .687 OPS in 119 games in 2022, his first with the White Sox. Harrison will receive a $1.5-million buyout from the team.
