(670 The Score) The White Sox recalled right-hander Reynaldo Lopez from Triple-A Charlotte amid a series of moves Friday afternoon.
Lopez, 27, has performed poorly at Triple-A this season, posting a 7.62 ERA and 1.90 WHIP in 39 innings across 10 starts. He was a fixture in the White Sox’s rotation in 2018 and 2019 before losing his spot in the 2020 season amid struggles.
In other moves, Chicago reinstated lefty reliever Aaron Bummer from the 10-day injured list, optioned righty reliever Matt Foster to Charlotte, optioned lefty reliever Jace Fry to Charlotte and sent infielder/outfielder Jake Lamb on a rehab assignment to Charlotte.

Bummer has a 3.26 ERA in 32 appearances this season. He had been on the injured list since late June with a hamstring strain.
Foster has a 6.15 ERA in 26 appearances. Fry has allowed three runs in two innings across two appearances after missing most of the first half recovering from a microdiscectomy in the offseason.
Lamb is batting .224 with five homers and 10 RBIs in 31 games.
