(670 The Score) The White Sox have reinstated reliever Matt Foster from the family medical leave list, they announced Tuesday morning.
Foster has a 1.42 ERA in 6 1/3 innings across five appearances this season. He had been out since Friday.
In a corresponding move, Chicago optioned outfielder Adam Haseley to Triple-A Charlotte. He’s batting .200 (2-of-10) in five games this season.
Haseley’s demotion without the addition of another outfielder is a sign that White Sox star center fielder Luis Robert is likely ready to return to action soon. Chicago hosts Kansas City at Guaranteed Rate Field on Tuesday evening. Robert has been out since last Thursday due to a groin injury.
