(670 The Score) The White Sox reinstated right-hander Michael Kopech from the injured list amid a series of roster moves Wednesday.

Kopech hasn’t pitched in a game since May 26, when he suffered a left hamstring strain. He has been terrific this season, posting a 1.78 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in 30 1/3 innings.

In other moves, Chicago placed lefty reliever Aaron Bummer on the 10-day injured list with a strained right hamstring, place righty reliever Evan Marshall on the 10-day injured list with a strained right flexor pronator and recalled lefty reliever Jace Fry from Triple-A Charlotte.

Bummer has a 3.26 ERA in 32 appearances this season. Marshall has a 5.60 ERA in 27 appearances and struggled in his team’s 7-6 win against the Twins on Tuesday, allowing two earned runs in 2/3 innings.

Fry hasn’t pitched at the MLB level yet in 2021 as he opened the season on the injured list while recovering from a microdiscectomy that he had in January. He has posted a 1.93 ERA in 13 appearances at Triple-A Charlotte this season. Fry had a 3.66 ERA in 18 appearances for the White Sox in 2020.
