(670 The Score) The White Sox have reinstated second baseman Nick Madrigal from the injured list, they announced Friday.
Madrigal had been sidelined since suffering a separated left shoulder on a slide back on Aug. 4. Madrigal was hitting .294 (5-of-17) with one RBI in five games before his injury. He made his MLB debut on July 31.
In other roster moves Friday, the White Sox acquired outfielder Jarrod Dyson from the Pirates in a trade, optioned catcher Zack Collins to their alternate camp in Schaumburg, designated outfielder Nicky Delmonico for assignment and optioned outfielder Luis Gonzalez to Schaumburg.
Delmonico was hitting .150 (3-of-20) with three RBIs in six games this season.
