(670 The Score) After news broke Wednesday morning that Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19 and is also unvaccinated despite previously indicating he was, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk blasted Rodgers for lying to the public.

“He’s a big fat liar,” Florio said on the Bernstein & Rahimi Show. “Because he created the clear impression back in August that he’s vaccinated. Now, he used the word ‘immunized,’ which should’ve been the clue.”

Rodgers will miss Green Bay’s game at Kansas City on Sunday afternoon. Jordan Love is set to start in Rodgers’ place.

“He has been running a scam, a con,” Florio said of Rodgers. “He’s been lying to everyone or at least creating the false impression that he’s vaccinated. And he’s not. And I think this all goes back to his hyper-sensitivity. He does not want to be criticized, so he didn’t want to get the same treatment that guys like Cole Beasley and Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz have gotten so he created the impression that he was vaccinated when he isn’t.

“He deliberately staked out the position that he thought would result in the least scorn and criticism from the media. And most in the media were of the mind that you should get vaccinated. So this all goes back to his sensitivity. He’s so sensitive that he’s sensitive about being called sensitive.

“He hates being criticized to the point where he was willing to create the false impression he was vaccinated so he would not be criticized for choosing not to be vaccinated.”
