(670 The Score) The White Sox got one infielder back Tuesday and lost another one for at least 10 days.

Chicago activated shortstop Tim Anderson from the 10-day injured list and placed infielder Leury Garcia on it, the team announced before its game at Detroit in the evening. Anderson missed the past 10 games with a right groin strain.

Garcia suffered a sprained left thumb while sliding headfirst into first base in the White Sox's 5-1 loss to the Tigers on Monday evening.

Anderson is hitting .333 with one homer and a .922 OPS in seven games this season.
