White Sox Make Series Of Roster Moves

(670 The Score) The White Sox have transferred reliever Nate Jones to the 60-day injured list amid a series of roster moves Monday.

Additionally, Chicago reinstated righty reliever Ryan Burr from the injured list and purchased the contract of outfielder Charlie Tilson from Triple-A Charlotte. Those two take over the roster of of lefty reliever Caleb Frare and outfielder Adam Engel, who were each demoted to Triple-A on Sunday.

Jones has been diagnosed with a flexor pronator strain in his right forearm after he was placed on the injured list on April 28. He had posted a 3.48 ERA in 13 appearances this season.

Burr, 24, had been on the injured list with A/C joint inflammation in his right shoulder. He has a 5.68 ERA in 10 relief appearances in 2019. 

Tilson, 26, was hitting .333 with a homer, 19 RBIs, three steals and a .396 on-base percentage in 25 games at Triple-A. He hit .264 in 41 games for the White Sox in 2018.
