(670 The Score) The White Sox have recalled right-hander Dylan Covey from Triple-A Charlotte, they announced Monday.

Covey, 27, posted a 2.51 ERA in 14 1/3 innings across five games, including three starts, at Triple-A this season. He made the White Sox's roster out of spring training before being optioned to Triple-A on April 3. He allowed one run in 1 1/3 innings in two relief appearances for Chicago early on.

Covey had a 5.18 ERA in 131 2/3 innings in 27 games, including 21, for the White Sox in 2018. He's expected to work out of the White Sox's bullpen for now.

The White Sox will host the Orioles in a three-game series that starts Monday evening.
