Daryl Ruiter: "Jimmy Haslam is willing to spend whatever it takes to win"

Aside from stepping back and allowing people to do their job, its more about the people he trusts instead of being an owner

Daryl Ruiter joined Anthony Lima and Andy Baskin in preparation of Training Camp. The top 45 spots on this team are spoken for, maybe about 8 jobs that are open. What is expected to be a more passing-intensive team this season, on the defensive side, the big numbers will be up front. Jim Schwartz wants to rotate guys in to keep them fresh, the health of the linebacking core is returning off injury and need to have room to bounce back. New Assisting Coaches coming in this year, we've seen a difference with Schwartz and Ventrone during practice protocols and how involved they are during plays. Kevin Stefanski recognizes the significance of this upcoming season and the importance of him and his staff to get the undivided attention of their players. The message being sent this year by coaches and owners have been "we are about business, on and off the field. We will conduct ourselves appropriately, be a professional, do what is required. If not, we will not hesitate to move on."
