Browns CB Greg Newsome II, LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and RB Demetric Felton named to All-Rookie Team by Pro Football Writers

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II, linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and running back/returner Demetric Felton were named to the All-Rookie team by the Pro Football Writers of America Tuesday.

Cleveland selected Newsome 26th overall in the first round, traded up in round 2 to pick Owusu-Koramoah and Felton was a sixth rounder in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Owusu-Koramoah started 10 of the 14 games he appeared in where he registered 76 tackles – three of those for a loss, four batted passes, two forced fumbles, four QB hits and 1 ½ sacks.

Newsome started 11 of the 12 games he appeared in and had 37 tackles and nine pass breakups.

Felton was selected as a punt returner. He returned 32 punts for 227 yards for a 7.1 average and nine kickoffs for 172 yards, a 19.1 average.

Felton also caught 18 passes for 181 yards and had seven rushes for 24 yards in limited offensive touches as a rookie.
