The Browns have added another member to their quarterback room.
Cleveland has agreed with 25-year-old quarterback Josh Rosen on a one-year deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Thursday evening. Rosen was selected by the Cardinals at No. 10 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft but has struggled in four NFL seasons, over which he previously has spent time with five teams.
Rosen most recently played with the Falcons in 2021, going 2-for-11 for 19 yards with two interceptions in four games. He has appeared in 24 games in his NFL career, starting 16, with a 3-13 record in those games. He has 12 touchdown passes and 21 interceptions with a 61.1 quarterback rating in his career.
The Cardinals moved on from Rosen quickly by trading him to the Dolphins in the offseason in 2019. Rosen started six games for Miami in 2019 before being let go by the Dolphins in September 2020. Rosen also spent time with the Buccaneers and 49ers that season but didn’t appear in a regular-season game.
