CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Isaac Okoro and Evan Mobley got to slide on medals after Team Barry won the Clorox Rising Stars Saturday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons won the MVP scoring a combined 18 points to go with 11 rebounds and 8 assists in two games, but the hometown kids did their part and Mobley was as deserving of the honor.

Mobley combined to score 18 points and pull down 11 rebounds plus 2 assists in two victories that saw Team Barry hit the combined magic score of 75 – 50 in the semifinal and 25 in the final.

Okoro combined for 6 points and 2 assists.

Frans Wagner’s free throw make clinched the final, 25-20 over Team Isiah.

Mobley had 5 points, 3 rebounds and an assist while Okoro had 2 assists in the championship game.

Jae’Sean Tate of the Rockets completed a fancy finish at the rim to push Team Barry into the third game with a 50-48 victory over Team Worthy.

Mobley hit 6 of 12 shots for 13 points to go with eight rebounds and an assist in Game 1 while Okoro went 3 of 6 for 6 points and a rebound.

Mobley was paired with Josh Giddy in the Clorox Clutch Challenge, which took place prior to the third game and the duo finished second despite starting off 4 for 4.

Players had to hit five shots from specific marks on the floor – the spot of Magic Johnson’s famed sky hook, where Charles Barkley hit over Glenn Robinson, Reggie Miller’s 3 to beat Michael Jordan and the Bulls, Ray Allen’s corner 3 and Damian Lillard’s buzzer beater. Kyrie Irving’s 3 to win the 2016 NBA Finals didn’t make the cut.

Mobley hit from Lillard’s mark at 49.7 seconds to complete the required 5-shot cycle.

Tyrese Haliburton and Desmond Bane beat their time knocking them all down in 39.1.

NBA All-Star Weekend continues Saturday with All-Star media day and practice followed by All-Star Saturday night featuring the Skills Challenge, Dunk Contest and 3-point shootout.
