London (WGR 550) - In the Buffalo Bills' first trip to London, England since 2015, the outcome was a similar one against the same Jacksonville Jaguars.

This time, the Bills trailed early and never got the momentum on their side in a 25-20 loss to the Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After an exchange of punts to start the contest, the Jaguars struck first halfway through the first quarter on a rough drive for the Bills defense.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence efficiently moved his team down the field, and capped off the drive with a six-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Zay Jones. The Jaguars went for a two-point conversion following the score and were successful.

On that scoring drive for the Jaguars, the Bills defense lost a couple of key players to injury, most notably linebacker Matt Milano, who suffered a significant right knee injury and was ruled out in short order.

Also injured for the Bills on the drive was defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, who suffered a pectoral injury and ended up not returning to game action.

After another Bills punt, the Jaguars marched down the field again on their next possession, but the Buffalo defense was able to slow Jacksonville down enough to hold them to a field goal. Brandon McManus' 44-yard field goal helped extend the Jaguars' lead to 11-0.

In the dying moments of the first half, the Bills managed to finally pick up their first score of the game. Bills quarterback Josh Allen was able to get the offense down the field and into Jacksonville territory, converting on third down three separate times in the drive. He capped off the drive with a 15-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

With Jacksonville being allotted enough time to add some more points before the end of the half, the Bills defense closed out the quarter by forcing a huge red zone turnover. It was Bills edge rusher A.J. Epenesa getting to Lawrence, strip-sacking the Jaguars quarterback and recovering the fumble himself.

Neither team scored in the third quarter, and it took until the halfway point of the fourth quarter before either team could get on the scoreboard again.

Following an interception thrown by Allen at the Jaguars' seven-yard line, Lawrence was able to move the Jacksonville offense down the field in 10 plays. It was running back Travis Etienne finishing the drive with a six-yard touchdown run to the outside and into wide-open space.

The Bills answered right back on the next drive, moving down the field quickly with Allen finding wide receiver Gabe Davis on a big 24-yard gain to jump start the offense. Allen and Davis later connected again to finish the drive with a 19-yard touchdown pass.

Jacksonville fired right back on their next drive, as Lawrence extended the drive with a big 32-yard connection on a third down to wide receiver Calvin Ridley. Moments later, Etienne broke loose for a 35-yard rushing touchdown to extend the Jaguars' lead.

With less than three minutes to go, Allen moved the offense 75 yards down field in just four plays and 45 seconds, connecting with wide receiver Deonte Harty for 43 yards and Davis down the sideline for 29 yards. The Bills quarterback got the Bills into the end zone with a three-yard touchdown run with just 2:11 to go.

Trailing by five points, the Bills needed to recover an onside kick, but the ball ended up being directed out-of-bounds by the Jaguars near midfield.

Although the Bills managed to get the ball back with just over 20 seconds left on the clock, Diggs ended up trying to lateral the ball and extend the play on a first down pass play, but the ball was recovered by Jacksonville to end the game.
